Papakura East Presbyterian Church

Breakfast Club

Members of the church have been supporting Edmund Hillary since 2006 when the Angels Light Breakfast Club began providing breakfast for children before school. The success of Breakfast club is dependent on volunteers to prepare and serve food, supervise children and clean up afterwards. Our children enjoy the daily benefits of sharing hot nutritious food together in the hall and socializing around the table as they would in a large family. Sometimes parents join their children for breakfast too with their preschoolers and it makes for a great start to the day for all. We extend grateful thanks to Bronca Fox, her sister and the team from Angels Light as part of the Papakura Christian Services Trust for sourcing the funding needed and to members of the church who volunteer every day to graciously serve our children and whanau.

Sonshine Ranch Trips

Our children have been very fortunate to be treated to horse riding at Sonshine Ranch over the years. These outings have been sponsored through the generosity of the Papakura East Church.
